When I arrived, I realized it was the same restaurant a friend had once recommended. My wife and I decided to try it together. We ordered the Hwangtae Bean Sprout Soup, which costs just 6,000 won, a small treat above the regular menu.

 

The restaurant is located on the first floor of Sejong Fore View 1st building, easy to find with a clear sign outside. It opens early at 6 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m., making it great for breakfast or a light dinner. Parking is convenient too. There’s an underground parking lot, and if you register your car number at the counter, you get four hours of free parking.

 

Inside, the space is clean, simple, and comfortable. There are plenty of seats, and it’s quiet even during busy hours. The atmosphere feels like a traditional Korean diner — no fancy decorations, just practical and tidy. The restaurant has a self-service area where you can refill side dishes like kimchi, radish cubes, peppers, and sauce. If you order one meal per person, rice is free, and you can ask for more if you need it.

 

Our meal came quickly, served boiling hot in a black stone bowl. The soup had soft tofu, bean sprouts, dried pollack (hwangtae), and seaweed flakes on top.
