Family Camping at I Love Pamping in Gongju

 

Last weekend, we camped at I Love Pamping in Gongju, South Korea. This place is perfect for families, especially with kids. It has great facilities and many activities for children. No wonder it’s so popular!

 

Location & Parking

I Love Pamping is in Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do. It’s about a 2-hour drive from Seoul. Parking is available, but if you bring a caravan, there is an extra fee of 10,000 KRW per night.

 

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: 12:00 PM

Check-out: 11:00 AM

Reservation: Opens on the 10th of each month, book early!

 

Campsite & Facilities

The campsites are not very big, but the facilities are clean and well-maintained. Toilets, showers, and sinks are available. The smoking area is near the entrance. If privacy is important to you, consider this before booking.

 

Kids’ Playground & Activities

This campsite is heaven for kids! There’s an indoor play area, trampolines, jungle gyms, and even a bubble party on weekends. Our kids were so busy playing that they barely came back to the caravan. This is the perfect spot for families who want to relax while their children have fun.

 

Camping Food & BBQ

For this trip, we ordered Gumi Irye Black Pork and enjoyed various dishes:

BBQ: Grilled pork belly and marinated bulgogi

Soy Sauce Bulgogi: Cooked with onions and garlic

Spicy Pork Bulgogi: Stir-fried with gochujang and vegetables

Snack for Kids: Pan-fried dumplings

 

Side Dish: Freshly packed saengtae-tang (pollock soup) from a nearby restaurant

Nothing beats a BBQ under the stars! Cooking at the campsite was easy and enjoyable.

Snacks & toys for kids

First-aid kit & mosquito repellent
