This post introduces a used Haesung Engineering H-17 sanitary plate heat exchanger skid with a capacity of 2,000 liters per hour. The unit was designed for beverage processing and is marked as DRINK on the nameplate. It is a complete skid package that includes the plate heat exchanger, pumps, geared motor, control panel, and assembled piping.

 

According to the nameplate, the processing capacity is 2,000 L per hour and the total heat transfer area is 10.03 square meters. The working pressure is 5 kg per square centimeter and the test pressure is 7 kg per square centimeter. This size is suitable for small beverage production lines such as tea drinks, juice, or other liquid food products.

 

The skid frame structure allows easier installation because the main piping and valves are already assembled. The panel includes switches for raw water pumps, an RO pump, and pure water pumps. Temperature and conductivity meters are also installed, so users can monitor basic process conditions.

 

The drive unit is a Samyang geared motor rated at 2.2 kW. It operates on 220 or 380 volts, three phase, 60 hertz power. The motor protection rating is IP54. The motor was manufactured on November 16, 2012, and the heat exchanger manufacturing year is 2013 based on the serial number.

 

One key advantage of this equipment is that it is sold as a complete skid system rather than a single heat exchanger. Compared to building a new system, this can reduce manufacturing time and installation cost. The 10.03 square meter heat transfer area is appropriate for a 2,000 L per hour line, but actual performance depends on fluid type and temperature conditions.
