This post introduces a used SUS304 stainless steel cylindrical drum. From the photos and on-site check, it has a flat bottom and no drain outlet. There are no signs of an agitator mount and no pressure or vacuum design parts. The stainless thickness feels relatively thin, but the body is not easily damaged under normal handling. With these conditions, this unit fits “work use” better than a fixed process storage tank.

 

What it is best for is simple handling on the shop floor. You can fill it, scoop from it, and move it short distances. Many sites use this type for temporary holding of ingredients or materials between steps. In food and general processing, it can hold cut materials, powder ingredients, or parts and tools. It also works as a soaking or washing drum, where items are placed inside with cleaning liquid and the drum is later emptied by pouring. It can serve as a short buffer container for liquids such as brine or sauce, but draining will be done by tilting or scooping, not by a valve.
