As the year-end approaches, family and friend gatherings are becoming more frequent. Today, I’m introducing Insam Pork Daejin Sikdang Sejong Main Branch, a restaurant perfect for family-friendly dining. With its spacious playroom for kids and delicious meat options, it’s already a well-known spot in Sejong. Recently, we visited with my daughter’s friend’s family, making it a three-family gathering. Here’s our review!

 

1. Why We Chose This Place + Booking Tips

When looking for a family-friendly restaurant, space and atmosphere are top priorities. At Insam Pork Daejin Sikdang, there’s a large playroom where kids can enjoy themselves while parents dine in peace.

 

This time, we made a reservation via Naver, which also came with a free kimchi stew service! As the year-end gets busier, it’s essential to reserve early to secure a good spot for gatherings.

 

2. Menu, Taste, and New Features

We always find ourselves ordering samgyeopsal (pork belly) here—it’s just irresistible! Their 14-day aged pork belly is tender, juicy, and a hit with both adults and kids.

 

This visit, we noticed a new kiosk system, making the ordering process much more convenient. There’s also a self-service bar for side dishes, letting diners customize their experience to their liking.

 

3. Table Arrangement & Our Gathering Experience

Since we had three families, we opted for a partitioned area. However, only two tables could be placed together, leaving one table slightly apart. Fortunately, the kids were old enough to dine separately, while the adults enjoyed conversation and food at the joined tables.
