올해 합강캠핑장에서 처음으로 할로윈 분위기를 살린 행사를 한다는 소식을 듣고 정말 기대했어요.

거주지 근처라 이동도 편하고, 우리 가족의 캠핑 루틴에 가장 잘 맞는 곳이기도 하니까요.

 

그런데 일정이 안 맞아 못 가나… 했는데,

토요일 갑자기 취소분이 떠서 바로 예약 성공!

이건 가라는 신호죠 ㅎㅎ

가을 하늘은 정말 사기급이었어요.

구름이 뭉게뭉게 떠 있고 햇살은 따뜻하게 비추고,

평소 합강에서 보던 풍광보다 만족도가 더 높았던 날.

첫 할로윈 행사라 기대했는데… 운영은 조금 아쉬움

올해가 첫 운영이다 보니 전반적인 프로그램 구성이나 동선, 진행 방식은

솔직히 말하면 조금은 아쉬웠어요.

 

🎈   어린이 에어바운스 체험존

 

아이들이 즐길 수 있는 에어바운스는 있었지만,

할로윈 느낌이라기보다는 그냥 "주말 키즈 행사" 느낌이 강했고

축제 콘셉트가 캠핑 전체로 연결되지는 않았어요.

 

그래도,

“내년부터는 훨씬 업그레이드된 할로윈 캠핑장이 될 것 같다”

이런 기분은 분명 남았습니다.

 

 

캠핑의 본질은 결국 먹는 거 + 불멍

오랜만에 여유로운 가족 캠핑이라

저녁은 복잡하게 준비하지 않고 닭다리살 + 버팔로윙으로 심플하게 구성했어요.

고기 구워지는 냄새만으로도 캠핑의 절반은 완성,

그리고 나머지 절반은 불멍이죠.

 

밤이 되니 합강대교 조명이 들어오고,

조용한 강바람, 은은한 어둠이 분위기까지 완성시켜줬어요.

즉흥 캠핑, 하지만 만족도는 높았던 하루

사실 이번 캠핑의 목적은 축제 참여였지만,

결국 남는 건 풍경과 분위기, 그리고 가족과의 시간.

첫 할로윈 운영이라 프로그램은 다소 미흡

그래도 지역 거주자로서 부담 없이 참여 가능해 좋았고

취소 건으로 갑자기 떠난 즉흥 캠핑이라 기대보다 만족도 ↑

합강 특유의 넓은 공간 + 강변뷰는 언제나 옳음

(솔직히 강이 잘 안보여요)

We visited the Hangang Camping Site in Sejong for its first Halloween event. I was excited because the campground is close to our home and it was the first time they tried a Halloween theme. We actually did a Halloween camping trip the week before at another place, so we were not desperate to go—but we still wanted to see how our local campground would do it.

We were able to visit because a Saturday cancellation suddenly appeared. It felt like perfect timing, so we booked it right away and got ready for an unexpected camping day.

When we arrived, the weather was beautiful. The sky was bright blue with soft white clouds, and the warm sunlight made everything look calm and peaceful. We set up our usual camping style with our two vehicles: the Renault Master camper van and our Glampy Cross 3.5 caravan. Seeing both of them parked together always gives us a relaxing feeling, like our own small home on wheels.

The event area had a few activities for kids, including a large inflatable play zone. Many children were enjoying it, running around and laughing. However, the Halloween theme was not very strong. It looked more like a regular weekend event rather than a special seasonal festival. Since this was their first year, the overall organization felt a bit simple and not fully prepared. Still, I believe they will improve a lot next year as they gain more experience.

After looking around the event area, we focused on what we enjoy most during camping—cooking and relaxing. We grilled chicken thighs and buffalo wings on our portable grill. The smell of the food cooking over the heat made the whole campsite feel warm and inviting. Simple meals like grilled chicken are always perfect for camping days because they are easy, tasty, and comforting.

As evening came, we started a campfire. Watching the fire crackle and glow is always one of the best parts of camping. The view was especially nice because we could see the lights from the nearby bridge shining in the distance. The night air was cool, but the fire kept us warm and relaxed. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly the kind of moment we look forward to when camping.

Even though the Halloween program was not very impressive, our camping day was still enjoyable. The unexpected trip, good weather, tasty food, and cozy campfire made the experience worthwhile. Sometimes simple moments create the best memories.

Overall, this visit showed us that the campground has a lot of potential. If they continue to host Halloween events in the future, I believe they can make something much better and more exciting. We hope next year’s festival will be more organized and more fun for families.

In the end, it was a relaxing fall camping trip close to home, and we were happy we went.
