Wanju Remian Valley Camping: A Perfect Summer Escape
If you're looking for a campsite that combines nature with comfort, Wanju Remian Valley Camping Site in Jeollabuk-do is the ideal choice. Recently, my family and I spent a wonderful weekend there, and it was an unforgettable experience filled with nature, water activities, and relaxation.
Why We Chose This Campsite
We wanted a place where we could enjoy nature and have access to a stream, especially during the summer. Wanju Remian Valley Camping Site is located next to a beautiful stream, making it the perfect spot for families to cool off and enjoy some outdoor fun. The water is clear, shallow, and safe for kids, which was one of the main reasons we chose this site.

Campsite Layout: There are 45 spacious pitches, all on a crushed stone surface, making tent setup easy and clean. The pitches are well spaced, ensuring privacy and comfort for campers.
Amenities: The site has a convenience store where you can buy basic supplies. The restrooms, showers, and dishwashing areas are kept clean, and there's even air conditioning in the facilities during the summer months, ensuring a pleasant experience.
Camping Tips and Things to Know
Electricity Use: The site provides electricity, but it's limited to 600W. So, be careful with high-power appliances like air conditioners, which may trip the breaker. A multi-plug can help manage power usage.

Our Camping Experience
We were originally booked for the B section of the campsite but were lucky enough to be upgraded to Site 29, which had a great view of the stream. This site was perfect for relaxing and letting the kids play in the water. There was plenty of shade from the trees, which helped us stay cool even during the hottest parts of the day.
Food and Campfire Time
Camping is never complete without a good barbecue! We grilled some delicious ribeye steaks and chicken skewers on our portable grill. The smell of grilling meat combined with the fresh outdoor air made for an unforgettable meal. After dinner, we gathered around the campfire for some classic fire-watching (불멍). It was the perfect way to end the day, enjoying the warmth of the fire and the peaceful sound of the stream.
